The foods and service are fabulous here. They have a big menu focus on yakitori dishes. My most favorite is the chicken wings.

Wonderful find. A brand new restaurant with a pleasant vibe on the inside. The quality from their food to their service to their decor was a great first impression for such a new restaurant. Every piece had a wonderfully delicate taste that you'd expect from high quality fresh food. It was a wonderful experience of unique textures and subtle flavors.

Dishes have great presentation with attention to detail. Very authenic!! I totally recommend!! Great atmosphere and wonderful friendly staff.

Everything on the menu is amazing, well-priced, the Ramen is incredible, and the staff are gracious, on-point, and always making sure you feel comfortable. Great ambiance, very friendly staff! I could eat here every day.

Love the new Japanese concept with freshly prepared foods (maybe I’m biased but it’s really good).

This little pocket of Stirling Rd that MaMa YaTai is located in is really popping off with the Asian eats and drinks, and this biz is no exception! Came here with a group of friends and ordered a lil bit of everything to try. We came before the dinner rush and were warmly welcomed with both the staff and the atmosphere. Stepping in here, you're transported to a different place with their decor and intimate setting. The decor is beautiful with small tables throughout the space, with an amazing bar. To order, you are given a sheet to write how many of each item you want (similar to some dim sum spots) and they come out as they're ready. There is a little hook for you to hang the clipboard with order sheet on the side of the table to help keep your table as clear as possible for your meal. For food, we ordered some appetizers: yuzu corn & hamachi kana; skewers: chicken thigh, chicken wing, scallop, beef wrapped scallion, and gizzard; and one of their specialty items: skirt steak, which comes with fried rice. Some of our favorites included most of the yakitori (skewers) but especially the beef wrapped scallion which was juicy and tender. Both appetizers were so good but the yuzu corn really knocked our socks off. The specialty item was good but a bit small with a steep price of $35. The skirt steak was juicy but a little chewy but may be because of the temperature we asked it to be cooked at. Of course, we had to try their dessert! We had almost everything: the yuzu cheesecake, ube cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake, and matcha green tea cheesecake. Each of these were actually really good and the perfect ending to the meal. If we had to pick favorites, it would be between the matcha green tea & yuzu! But don't sleep on the ube, it actually has that strong ube flavor that most places miss the mark on. For drinks, some of our friends got the kumquat green tea which comes with mixed fresh fruits. I got to steal a sip and am definitely getting it next time. They come in big beautiful glasses and are full of flavor. Who knew I'd like kumquat? They don't' seem to have alcoholic drinks yet despite having a beautiful bar setup. I can't wait until they do! They let us know that they'll be having mochi donuts & Korean corn dogs soon! So excited for these foodie trends to finally make their way to Broward. Welcome to Davie, MaMa YaTai!
